ADVANCED HYDRAULICS
Course duration:
4 days face-to-face (2.5 days classroom based theory and 1.5 days practical hands-on training)
or
10 x 2-hour online sessions (theory only)
During the course, attendees will be taught the following topics:
- Fixed & variable pump controls
- Closed hydrostatic transmission systems
- Variable and two-speed motors
- Industrial proportional valves & driver cards (‘amplifiers’)
- Mobile load-sensing proportional valves
- Counterbalance Valves
- Logic valves
- Flow dividers
- Proactive maintenance & condition monitoring
- Logical fault finding
- Working safely with hydraulics
- Steering valves & priority flow control valves (on request)
In addition, attendees undertake a number of practical hands-on tasks to support the above topics
